Gronland is an ethnic district north east of Central station made up of mostly Arab immigrant communities. Characterized by Far Right hysteria as a 'No Go' area and the 'Most Dangerous Place in Norway' you can see its perfectly normal with locals going about their business and nice restaurants.

I was just in Grønland walking around with my family. We thought it was actually lovely. I feel that my home town which is fairly safe is much more dangerous than Grønland.

Firstly, people say that Grønland is the most dangerous city in Oslo..which it is, it is at least on the top list when compared to other cities or places within Oslo. Once a time, a city called Holmlia carried this list. As a female, I’ve been harassed twice in broad day light, while walking the streets of Grønland. I can’t ever imagine being alone at night. I only felt safe on a day I went to ab eatery with a man. Recently 8 women where for absolutely no reasons, harassed, spat on and threatened with knife in Gronland (published on VG as of 11.06.2022) Men at the other hand are 7/10 safe as long as they have no rivals/ found in drug crisis etc.

Every city has problems and everything can happend, i don`t know if what your saying is true or not about the you getting harrased there just doesn`t seem right, but might have happend not going to say agianst it, and Grønland, holmlia is not Cities oslo is a city, its called Districts im from romsås and i know many Women that hang around Grønland without any problems also white people i even know white people from grønland, its a safe area same with whole of oslo might be more crime at east oslo, but doesn`t make it dangerous.

Grønland is not the most dangerous place in Oslo, its just the most multicultural place or the place with the most poverty. The multicultural areas we call «drabantby» which is sorta like a council estate area usually 15-20 min away from the city centrum. Those are more dangerous areas, there are more shootings and gang wars and stuff over there

I tried to show it is a very friendly safe area where everyone mixes. It reminds me of the area in East London where I grew up which was similarly multicultural.

I can not speak for all Norwegians, but I enjoy Grønland. ❤️ The mall is just so clever, hidden behind, the classic fronts. As the finacialnistrict is growing, just next door. I`m worried that Grønland might disaprear.

It reminded me of growing up in East London. It might be like Aldgate or Brick Lane which were once "ethnic ghettos" but now gentrified, absorbed into the financial distric, and more touristy. I saw those hidden malls in Stavanger too, so neat.

It is not a no go zone, but its a place of high risk of being robbed, exposed to violence, and openly drugdeals. You can walk through a area in chicago at a certain time of the day and dont see ANYTHING that u read in the media, that doesnt mean its not a dangerous place. I stayed there for 4 days in the tower blocks shown. I felt perfectly safe at all times and my friend has lived in the tower blocks for 10 years and says the same. Again, other far right sites are spreading this nonsense and I tried to show it was very safe.

Although I'm not a big fan of MC, Gronland is very safe. I was walking through it every day and night until recently. People are not scared of this area, and people do not act differently. you often see Gay people kissing etc.

I really liked it, I was staying with my Norwegian friend who has lived there 10 years. Very multicultural, reminds me where I grew up in London. Places like this end up becoming tourist areas with all the foreign cuisine and culture.

I love Grønland it`s not dangerous at all and is safe area no areas in norway is dangerous, im from oslo and a place people called "Romsås" in north east of oslo thats has lots of rumours of being dangerous and high chance of getting robbed when its not near that, its really safe area and i know lots of ethnic norwegian living in this area also. People think we are poor when its still the most expensive city in norway and are scared of multi-cultural areas and have something called (xenophobia) that means being scared or have something agianst people that has a ethnic background good video 👍
