I saw a prank online that is a serious contender for more seriously messed up, cruel/abusive. The husband was playing with one of their little boys in an upstairs room visible from downstairs. There was a balcony area. The kid was in a spiderman costume. The wife turned away and the kid was directed to hide in the bathroom. The husband resumed playing with a life sized dummy of the kid (also in Spiderman costume) when his wife was in position to see them, he launched it over the balcony with his wife watching. It is one of the cruelest "pranks" I have ever seen. He did it for clicks online.
