This is the first groom that I feel totally comfortable with having him there. He loves her sincerely and his face shows it every time he looks at her. I am very happy for them, actually all teary eyed. She looked fabulous in all the dresses. My favourite was no. 2.

yeah i don't understand what happened. he talked about putting her in a fuller skirt to make her shoulders and bust more proportioned and she looked fantastic in it, and then they went back to an even tighter skirt and with spaghetti straps that were practically cutting her shoulders off. the added off the shoulder bits on the second dress looked natural and complemented her shape, on the final dress it looked lumpy and awkward. she didn't look comfortable at all in the 3rd dress.

I love how Gok picks dresses that are under $2,000 even though he's told there is no budget. He's really after the bride's best interest instead of how much commission will be made. He also has the most beautiful dresses. Alot better than the other shows.

Generally in the UK, it’s not about the commission at all. Gok is a stylist with a big portfolio of tv work, and the consultants on the show are paid a decent salary, so it really is all about the bride, not just the sale x

Also in the UK there are loads and loads of stunning dresses for under £2000 much more than on say yes to the dress US (I had my own wedding dress designed and made for me and it didn't cost much more than £2000 and it had loads of swarovski crystals dotted all over it and the veil, which is the biggest reason why it cost that much)

I liked the bottom of the second dress more but the top of the 3rd dress. I'm glad she finally felt comfortable and happy with her body shape by the end ❤

The husband loving every dress is so cute! When I walked down the aile, my husband started to cry and smile, which I've never seen him smile and cry like that. I was smiling ear to ear on that day. It was a small wedding. The first dress I picked and tried on, I just got that feeling that it was the one. My husband said alll that day, how beautiful I looked.

Exactly! It’s like Gok hears, “no budget,” and genuinely thinks, “ok, that restriction is removed,” (rather than, “aha! That’s the target now!”). It’s on the same level to him as a bride saying, “no limit to which fabric,” or, “no limit to type of neckline.” He genuinely wants the brides to feel beautiful.

Love so much about this one. The groom isn't there for himself, he's there for her. Not to control and pick, but to see her get "that glint in the eye". That they don't take advantage of the "no limit budget". And when they did the reveal on the third one - didn't think they could top the second but boy did they. And how they took her slowly through her comfort levels to get to that one.

In general, I don't like gowns that are super-low cut. For this bride, b/c she has such large boobs, with the super-low cut, one's eyes are immediately drawn there and the dress is then wearing her, rather than the bride wearing the dress. And I definitely don't like dress #3 - a real surprise b/c I usually love Gok's final choice.

I agree. Not a fan of super low cut gowns either. I feel out of all 3 dresses, the final dress had a better top. It was low cut but not as low compared to the other dresses. On top of that the bust sat right securely and was more flattering. Being a busty girl myself the support is important.
