Donal & Sarah fell in love at school in 2002. Fast forward 17 years and on April 26th 2019 in her home village Coolderry in County Offaly, Ireland , he sang her up the aisle to the song "This I promise You"

I can give my possible answer, my husband song in school before I even knew who he really was, he sang in his own band throughout then and was ALWAYS being asked to sing in weddings and more for many years BUT even after me begging and begging he refused to sing at our wedding. He said there was no way he could look at me standing there in the church and sing. He was afraid all he would really do was cry just trying. He song throughout our life together even writing 2 songs just for me!! We had 27 beautiful years together but in 2010 even after being soooo healthy he contracted the swine flu and passed away at 46. I was 44. I miss my heart every day without him is the hardest thing I have ever done BUT when some ask me if I ever thought about dating or one day marrying again my answer is always the same HE LOVED ME ENOUGH FOR A LIFETIME!!!

I hope that was a sweet wow. 🙂 memories are all I have left, I think sometimes, but then I look at our two sons and our 7 grandkids and I know he lives on. Only 1 grandson was born before he passed away but oh how he loved that little boy! All of them can tell you stories I have told them and one of our granddaughters was in the car with me one day and I looked back and saw tears in her eyes and I asked why she was crying and she said “I miss Pawpaw so much” that about broke my heart but the love he had in his heart was enough for even our grandchildren that he never knew. I hated to see her cry but I will never regret telling them how much their Pawpaw loved them even without knowing them. I miss my heart so much too.
