Marius, das ist ja mal wieder ein starkes Stück, was du dir und uns, hier erlaubst. Bomm Bass Tisch... Es ist erstaunlich, was du diesem, doch recht günstigen Instrument, für Töne entlocken kannst. Tief, tiefer, Marius...

Hello, those strings give an excellent tone, but I have a question. In general, ubasses, especially with rubber strings, sound very quiet when not amplified. How do you think that bass sounds with those strings without an amplifier? I saw a video of a Kala with Aquila spiral strings, and it sounded good next to a guitar, but video edits can be misleading when selling a product. Greetings from Chile!!!! 😁

Thanks for this video, I have a question ,How do you change the strings?.... Thanks
@MariUSukulele7 ай бұрын
Legit question, as these strings have ball ends and unlike other bass-ukuleles this particular instrument doesn‘t have an opening in the back. So for a comfortable string change i did exactly that. I had me a luthier sawing out an 'inspection flap'. Inside it is reenforced w\ a wooden frame. BUT: i have a bassist colleague (male, fairly large hands) who was able to put these strings on through the soundhole, so the modification is not really mandatory.
