I've been looking at dozens of metronome explanation channels, BUT, this guy was the absolute first with whom I could sync up my very cheap Google Play app (Tempo Lite) to him exact enough for government work. Whoa...even I could do it!

Rotem, marvelous marvelous video. Something so so so deeply fundamental. There is no musicality without appopiate rhytmic execuition. Two questions: In quarantine times, it is not so easy to get the "musical context". Are backing tracks a good option to put this in practice? Second, always keep it at 50 bpm or how do you increase tempo? To gain speed and dexterity Big hug!

Hi! Thanks! So yea, start w the tracks. We're just trying to get as close as we can to "real" playing. And yes - start around 50 and go up & down. So 20bpm would also be tricky - that's a good ex. And go up for speed and accuracy.

Great video - really clear - except I'm struggling with the 1/4 note triplet feel - are you dropping the 2nd or 3rd subdivision of the triplet?

actually that rhythm is not quarternote triplets. They are dotted 8th notes.....

Hey man, so I notice you do a lot of “subscribe for more” kinda things in the middle of your videos and (though I might not make videos) that tends to deter people from subbing, I would say the best thing that you can do is put some kind of text on the screen in one of the corners if you would like to say something like that. It tends to screw up the flow of the video and doesn’t make it appealing for people who are already subscribed to you. Like your video editing chops have gotten better but I do think there are a few things you need to work on. Of course I mean that in the nicest way possible, I know you’re still starting out and I think there’s a lot of potential for you to grow if you get the habits of what works and what doesn’t and particular situations on KZbin. But if you are going to ask people to subscribe maybe say that at the start and the end of the video instead of sporadically placing it throughout. Anyways cheers.
