@@neilpatrickhairlessShe is from the Russian part of Ukraine - Donbass! Just about 24 miles from Donetsk, 40 minutes drive. Stop supplying weapons to those who had been killing Donbass for 8 year before Russian troops came in to save the people from being completely wiped out by Ukrainian Nazis.

You aint seen nothin' yet, buddy. 😂 This is the intro song into Jinjer. You're in for a treat. Do Jinjer - Perrinnial - Live at Wacken, and prepare yourself. This band is in a league of their own, and that's comin' from a dude that's been listening to metal for 40 years. Your life is about to change. lol And your playlist is gonna be more than 2 songs bigger. ;)

It seems like a lot of fandoms lead reactors in with their most impressive work. We start folks off with that song that went viral but there's even more impressive work to share. :)

Hahaha, you stepped into one of the most innovative, heaviest, progressive metal bands at the moment. A fantastic 3 piece unit with a brilliant frontwoman. They are world class. I think your hooked already, fine reaction, thanks.

Jinjer slapped me upside the head in 2018. They are all so talented. I got into Metal on the ground floor baby. Metallica 1983, I was 11. Have loved metal ever since. Peace to you and yours!!!

Good choice brother. But be aware that Jinjer its just like Crack once you try...you hooked!! Every each song of them have some new way, some twist that keeps you going on. You might appreciate Perennial Live at Wacken 2019 - to have a good vision about what they can do live and Teacher Teacher wich will rip your face off. Welcome! to Jinjer's Rollercoaster

@@neilpatrickhairless Hi Dean. May I make a correction? Eugene's fav band is Opeth. Not Otep. Tatiana's first hearing of "growls" were from Otep. When she found out it was a woman doing that it inspired her to learn to do it too.

I hope you continue down the Jinjer rabbit hole. You won't be disappointed. They don't have a bad song, but this one is usually requested for the shock factor we all like to watch. It only gets better. My personal favorite is Teacher, Teacher (official video), but Perennial live at Wacken is a good one as well. They are as good live as they are in the studio.

My daughter and son started listening to Slipknot, Cannibal Corpse and Job for a Cowboy at 11. They still listen now at 30 and 31. Both of their musical taste is all over the spectrum with my son listening to Frank Sinatra as well. Maybe your daughter will listen to heavier as she ages.

Ya, Jinjer would probably be a bit hard for most kids. If you want to introduce her to metal and heavier music in an easier fashion, check out Nightwish "Ghost Love Score" kzbin.info/www/bejne/gIrNep9-jKd0jNE This song is at the lighter end of their spectrum and they're a good band to introduce someone to metal as much of their music is quite accessible. Then later you can introduce your daughter to Jinjer as her taste for metal grows. Nightwish has a far larger female fanbase than the vast majority of metal bands, so I think your daughter might like them. The woman who sings for Nightwish can also growl, but she rarely uses the technique in Nightwish. It was something she used in her previous band.
