Napalm is one of the labels that understands that reactors are generally a good thing for them. This song specifically gained a lot of traction for Jinjer via reactors.

This is a "live session" not fully live, there is some post-production so where you hear two voices it HAS been layered. Bit of a shame that they do that because it could lead people to think she mightn't sound great in a raw state but she does. Watch Judgement and Punishment one-take vocal for proof of that 😉

True. But nevertheless, this is insanely good! :D

I actually think it helps, because it leads people to say “I have to see if she can pull that off live!” Then Perennial live is the usual next step for reactors.

You’re an excellent reactor. Jinjer fans are connoisseurs of reaction vids lol. I was never into reaction vids at all until i found Jinjer a few months ago. Now it’s a serious hobby lol. For not being a trained singer or vocal coach you zeroed in on a lot of things most others do not. Very perceptive. I also like that you are clearly moved by the music. I like music that makes me react emotionally, viscerally. Jinjer music is an emotional rollercoaster. They’re incredibly integrated as a unit, and they’re super versatile. They switch genres mid song and they emphasize contrast and extremity. You picked up on that right away, and your emotional reactions are fun to watch. Keep up the good work! One thing that helped me understand all the awesomeness that is Jinjer, was watching the playthrough videos of bassist Eugene, guitarist Roman, and drummer Vlad. It’s easy to be so distracted by Tatiana’s stunning presence that you don’t fully understand how much each of them is contributing to the overall effect, and to her own vocal presentation. Each of the musicians is a virtuoso in a classical sense. Their compositions are classical in their complexity, emotional range and expressiveness. Together they are unbelievably tight musically. It’s a blast to watch their individual mastery. One of the things i love about Jinjer reaction vids is that you can literally watch people falling in love. It’s great! After these first two that you have watched, the one that really made me fall in love was Just Another OMV. The way she smiles sweetly and then roars like a tiger is impossible to resist.

Jinjer and Napalm records are very reactor friendly. You should not get any copyright strikes from Jinjer reactions. Good reaction. For a follow up reaction I recommend "Teacher, Teacher" (OMV). You will like it. Tatiana is very stylish and has a different look for almost every video.

Sadly Napalm did hit me this time with a copyright but oh well, it is what it is :) hope people enjoyed it.

@@fashionblank Your reaction was not different from so many other reactions. Odd. It might be worth exploring why. Good luck.

I can't identify notes to save my life, but I've heard many vocalists, vocal coaches & musicians identify that belt as an E5, so ya, I think you're right. Good job! I'm with you - the 3rd verse just before the outro is my favourite part, both in terms of instrumentation & melody. Ethereal & haunting. The lyrics are awesome as well. I 100% agree with Lovely Baby Janine about post-production & Judgement and Punishment one-take vocal.

Nice reaction! Yeah, there is some global poetic justice happening that the most interesting metal band right now (imho) are from east Ukraine. 🇺🇦

You should search “Tatiana Shmayluk model.” She has actually done some professional level photo shoots and she does her own makeup as well. She has a natural eye for fashion to go along with her musical muscle.

Lyrics: Step forward and meet a new sunrise A coward is shivering inside Today I'll be a friend of mine Who swallows suffering with smile I drew a different reality With unconditional loyalty Ego hardly can be piqued 'Cause I'm selfless Scale armour belies Virgin innocence One being brings life Another runs for death Scale armour belies Virgin innocence One being brings life Another runs for death No promises I ever give Don't rely on me and I won't deceive The beginning or the end you can't tell When I wave my fin and shake my tail I grew in different normality With unblamable morality Hooks and nets are there for me But I'm skittish Scale armour belies Virgin innocence One being brings life Another runs for death Scale armour belies Virgin innocence One being brings life Another runs for death A Neptune's child shivering inside Drowns in the liquid gold Cherished his life to the underworld Meet me flashing when winter cries Pisces swimming through the river All their life against the stream Searching for a hook to catch on and see their sun beam Then suffocate in painful tortures On cutting tables of callous men Under a knife of handsome butchers Emeralds are ripped away Emeralds are ripped away Emeralds are ripped away Emeralds are ripped away

There are also some vocal and guitar overdubs - it’s easiest to pick the guitar one when the distorted guitar sustains after a chorus with the clean picking already starting, and in the clean vocal near the end there is a whispered double under the singing.
