I know hill didn’t tap but having your arm broken is a huge detriment to your ability to fight, and they say that sometimes the refs job is to protect the fighters from themseves which in this case should’ve been done. I get the idea of letting them fight but the ref needs to remember to protect them from themselves.

It's more than dislocated. We can't tell for sure if it's broken, but it's a hyperextended elbow, and the way it's flopping around (and sinks to the ground when the armbar is let go) suggests serious ligament damage at the very least. This isn't a "just pop it back in" injury.

You might be right, but when you just dislocated a part of your body the only thing holding would be flesh and skin, so what would you recommend to do? Because the ref stopped the fight, so the only problem I have is He took way too long to do it.

@@Esquiavy82 Oh for sure, I'm not saying a dislocated joint isn't enough to stop a fight. Not every dislocated joint can be easily popped back into place (we've seen both cases in the octagon). Just that in this case, there's almost definitely some additional damage based on that elbow going 45° in the wrong direction, over and over.

Not really no, fight should be stopped. I remember Jimmy Crute getting deadlegged by a kick from Antony Smith, and he wanted to continue. They still stopped the fight when he fell backwards when fighting his case against the ref/ringside doctors
