I've been a victim of leaving that dome light on... only did it ONCE, (knock on wood). I have not yet operated on grass strips, so that steering/braking tip is good to know. As for ice, I've taxied on an iced up ramp many times. You definitely need to taxi at slower than normal speeds and avoid sharp turns and heavy braking unless you want to spin around like a drunk balerina!

I’ve had my maintenance shop tow my AA5 by the nose wheel assembly using their tow carts. Sounds like I shouldn’t let them do that any longer. What can get damaged?
