Thank you so much for checking out ateez, they're my absolute favourites :) They are indeed a kpop group, im glad you enjoyed it they are writing and pruducing their music themselves together with their producing team 'edenary' I don't know what kind of sound you prefer when it comes to music, but those men have it all, so I'm just gonna recommend one or two songs with different styles lol Hard hitting/aggressive: halazia, hala hala, crazy form Rock: rocky, guerrilla Soft: utopia, aurora Ballade: Turbulence, be with you, everything Rap heavy: to the beat, the leaders, matz, youth Vocal heavy (aka the sound you hear when you enter heaven): answer, inception, deja vu, it's you Summer vibes: Eternal Sunshine, wave, illusion Or you could check out their latest song 'not okay' if you want :) They also have a storyline that is attached to most of their music videos, it includes pirates, travelling to different universes, alternative dystopia realities, overthrowing oppressive governments, etc I'm sorry if this is a bit much/overwhelming, I'm just really happy haha Thank you again for reacting to them, I promise you won't regret this journey should you want to start it Much love from germany, hope you're having a wonderful day~

I'm with you, I love all types of music. My daughter introduced me to K-pop and OMG I went down the rabbit hole. ATEEZ are one of my ult groups. They are just amazing and bring so much energy. I like the mix of rock they have in their songs and admire the training they go through to become the amazing performers they are today. Haliza and Guerrilla are two of my all time favorites by Ateez. You should check out their lil brother group Xikers too if you like ATEEZ.

Kpop is all over the place genre wise because the term kpop really more describes (pop) music by artists that train in a Motown inspired training system in Korea. For anyone new to or interested in kpop and looking for something really musically interesting, I always recommend Tempo by EXO and Superhuman by NCT 127. Happy exploring!

Eden-ary is a group of people who are producing Ateez. Two of the rappers in the group are also part of the group. Hongjoon the Captain of Ateez has written and produce a few of their songs. They have a pirate theme and like other kpop groups they have a lore. Sometimes at the end of the musice video you can hear part of the next song to come out, or it could also a snip it of part of their. Not all their songs are hard hitting and energtic, they also have a some softer songs. Their lastest album they have music releases in units. "Matz" MV, is more rap hip hop with Hongjoon and Seonghwa. "It's You" MV consist of San, Yeosang and wooyoung, which is a more RnB sound. "Youth" which is Mingi and Yunho. Mingi wrote it a few years back and he wanted to do with Yunho, which he got the chance to do on the lastest album. Yunho contibuted to some of th writing of the song. Then the last MV off the latest album is a ballard "Everything" which Jongho sings. He has a beautiful powerful voice and can hit all those high notes. The song that got me into Ateez was "Guerilla " and "Cyberpunk". Inception is another song I like. Enjoy hearing more of their music. Also they all great dance performers.

@@OLDMANHUDA I cannot choose one, they are all talented in their own ways. Only got interested in kpop about 2 years ago now. I love all different types of music.BTS, Stray Kids, Onlyoneof, Rammstein, Salt N Pepper, Grace Jones to name a few

Im glad you checked out Ateez and liked them so much. To be honest their whole discography is near to flawless and some would argue it is. If you wanna get more into Kpop or Ateez in general please check out their The World Ep. 1 "Movement" and The World Ep.2 "Outlaw" Albums (Bouncy is the Title track of the Ep. 2 Album). Even tho Ateez´s Titletracks are always 10/10 and always slap, their B-sides are where their creativity peaks, at least for me. Their instrumentals and approach to making music an unforgettable experience is truly one of a kind. So if you wanna do a deep dive into Ateez and their world, (they do have a very interesting and complex Story Line) id be very glad to see you reacting to one of their albums or just to them in general. Thank you for your reaction, I’m sure ATINY has already explained that their name is pronounced “AY-Tease”, fyi. It’s a lot to take in because their discography is so vast but it is top tier unskippable imo. They are my ult group for a reason. One thing I don’t think you touched on is their impeccable VOCALS- they always sing live and perform at the same time which is not common these days in kpop. I kinda got distracted at the so many memes/gifs inserted so it’s hard to gauge what you actually gravitated to, so hopefully you continue to check them out. Have fun on your journey!

Sorry for the many comments, but just wanted to add since you asked if this is kpop.I honestly think Stray Kids and Ateez have really changed what kpop is like.They are less pop and added more genres.XG is also on another level compared to the kpop girl groups. Stray Kids is the only one of the groups I mentioned that is self produced
