Just so you know, the Hammer with a plus is the Repair Tool's weapon type, which likely means they just reused that so the basketball doesn't damage any builds when being thrown. It's also probably why you didn't see it doing any damage to the bugs.

That Hedge assent improvement is actually a pretty big deal. I've seen a couple streamers give up at that point and i assume they lose quite alot of players who just get confused at what to do there. It's easy when you know how, but when you are a new player with clover armour trying to do it in the dark and your torch has run out... It's pretty difficult

I am excited about the changes to the dandelions, I almost never used trinkets because they shared the same slot and not falling to death was worth it, whether from regular travel, collisions with bees or wendell on ziplines or the glitch I have seen many times on the subreddit of bugs launching people. I love that they are letting you track the milk molars now, that is going to be a godsent for the completionists or those looking to inch out whatever bonuses they can, and with them being toggled those who don't want that surprise ruined can easily toggle them off. The changes to quests is going to be a godsent, especially if your luck is awful when it comes to creature drops. I killed a dozen black widow spiders too only get 1 of 4 venom for the blade so I could harvest 1 material in the upper yard, dropped 3-4k science super duping those alone.

I want a salty staff. And I’m glad they weakened the widows a bit they’re terrifyingly strong for not being bosses. Love the aphid slipper and elemental weapon upgrades so excited. I solo whoa so widows, wasps and inf. Wolves are hell.

the reason that acorns don't drop tops usually is where you hit the nut, for some reason if I hit the top it usually breaks, but when I hit it at the bottom I usually get the top

I went threw the pain and did a widow raid and it doesn't matter how many widow fangs or super spider venom you put it you will always have to fight one widow and like 2 to 3 widowlings but you do get 1000 raw science when it's complete but also If you have dissection expert equipped you could basically get infinite fangs and super venom since it only takes one of either to start and fight the black widow

There are some pretty clearly confusing choices here like basically invalidating the mighty reforge, removing half the stuff that made whoa mode difficult (assuming player damage is the damage players do then increasing that from 75 to 125% and bug health from 100 to 125% literally means it would be as difficult as normal mode. Giving black widow a teir 2 health bar is strange too, i was thinking at least teir 3. I don’t know what is going on in the devs heads right now.

Build mode issue I found. Both the Half Mushroom stairs use the same mats. A uses 2 bricks and 1 acorn shell. B also uses those mats but shouldn't since it's all mushroom brick.

Im pretty happy with these changes. i think making medium was easier was pretty good though they should counter it by making WHOA the same or even harder. elemental weapons might be useful now with the new buffs too. not sure how i feel about the widow resistances but i think overall its Better. waft emitter is great for gold cards. so yeah overall kinda a W for the survival aspect. Also, you said "you can do black widow raids if you're mentally insane" yet during streams for the gold card you said you wished you could? make up your mind lol

I wonder if this update will FINALLY fix the Xbox from CRASHING every hour or so? This is the only game that consistently crashes both on my Xbox One S and a friends Xbox X. Many other people have reported the same crashing so obviously it's not an isolated problem. You can practically set your clock to the crashes. On average it crashes on me every 1.5 hours. The last few plays I've been about to play for about 2 hours and rarely I'll get a '3 hour tour' (Gilligan reference...lol), but it still crashes. And it always crashes right when it auto-saves. ALWAYS. Obviously that's where the problem lies, or at least a place to look. Not sure if it's a Microsoft problem or Obsidian. Since none of my other games do this, I have to assume it's Obsidian and something within the game. I'm certainly no game designer, so what do I know. Are you both listening? FIX THIS PROBLEM and you'll have an Epic game that has endless possibilities. Great game otherwise and I love it, but if the crashes aren't fixed, I think I'm done with it.
