They probably didn't add because it was to similar to the larva which is pretty sad, I would've loved that earwig sword man 🥲

They should have added a move where it scorpain tail forward and grab the player, ear wings irl can reach infront of them with their pincher and if enganged from behind it could also do some damage. Maybe they could even grab and slam the player onto the ground.

This could infact make a "roleswitch" type of armor for multiplayer, in which from your front its major threat since it looks so cute and innocent, and when you turn around you get minor threat for looking so scary, or possible the other way around. A sword would render antlion greatsword completely pointless. I wish they actually add it and make it replace larva at night.

Im pretty disappointed that the earwig doesn't have any animations with its pinchers but maybe theres more you didn't get.

Nope, this is all of the animations and there and none were not broken or placeholder animations. Remember it could have been unfinished or used similar animations of larvae as a placeholder

Fun fact: earwigs don't use the back pinchers, they're just to add when the earwig sticks the behind up to make itself scarier to predators

It's confirmed to be November 13th now, all they've really shown is an option to move landmarks. But they could actually add much much more, like how we got the Infected Broodmother in a tiny patch for 1.2
