It always amazes me in videogames how the guy next to the other don't notice his college being killed. From silent firearm? Okay. But this at the end, that choke, was quite loud given how close the other guy was. Still, an VERY impressive showing.

What makes it even funnier is, that one of the tutorials ingame even states, a stealth kill with a knife would be more quiet than choking, implying a choke-kill could be heard from nearby enemies. Seeing the situation at the end, it seems to make no damn difference, apart from the knife-kill being faster.

Yeah, I wish some small changes would correct things like that. I get that it would be hard to make certain things either more or less transparent (like curtains or a bookshelf), but I would think they could fairly easily implement a sound-based effect where someone would be alerted when they're 3 feet away lol

The first time I played grounded it took me 13 minutes to pass this chapter and it was like "oh, crap! There are no checkpoints on this level". I had ammo enough to kill the whole crew at the second floor because I died way too many times in other chapters to save as much ammo as I could. This was the only part of the game where I didn't die and the High School in Bill's Town was a pain in the ass to go through.

They'll spot you and start shooting if you head straight for the door. Not really a problem because the door is so close, but choking them out is more consistent.

Was it really necessary to take down the last two Fireflies, or did you just do it for fun? I think you could have just gone straight through the last door, even if they would have detected you on the way. You would have made it. It would have been a no weapons - no throwables - no kills walkthrough :D Edit: I just realised you already answered the question on another user's comment =) Either way, it was a phenomenal video, as usual. I basically did the same thing on my playthrough!! there were a few differences like I shot the guy who bursts through the door instead of pushing him but once I got to the upper level I didn't even touch the two men hiding behind the barrier at the end of the hall toward Ellie.

I actually did a similar style of playthrough the first time I played through TLOU, because I didn’t want to kill any Fireflies since the game led me to believe they were the “good guys.” I just snuck past everyone. Although I used a brick to stun the person coming out the door of the stairwell, and smoke bombed the last two guys.

I actually did this in normal mode. All I had was 5 bullets in my ar, 3 bullets in my el diablo, and 7 bullets in my shotgun, so I tried about 10 times and enemies just kept showing up, so I just ran through, and I stealthy through the hallway before you reach Ellie.

Nice. :) I can stealth past the top floor guys, but usually use a smoke bomb to get thru the last set of double doors. I'll have to try choking out those guys instead.
