Ultra about info: Before 2018 all 4 Ultra groups from Sporting (Juveleo, DUXXI, Torcida and Brigada) were positioned in the south stand on the stadium known as "Curva Sul", in 2018 after some Ultra/Hooligan members attacked players in the Training Centre (May2018) the president was expelled and a new president was appointed, this new president came with a new "anti-ultras" mode, ending the agreements between club and ultra groups, prohibiting the support material (flags, drums, banners). after covid19 some "peace" talks were held but only Brigada and Torcida got their material back (flags you filmed), but the 2 biggest groups Juveleo and DUXXI were still restricted, so in 2022 Duxxi decided to go to the north stand (their original stand when created in 2002), and Juveleo stayed at the south stand as the biggest group. That is why Sporting has 3 ultra zones: South stand with Juveleo, North Stand with Duxxi and upper stand with Brigada (flags). Also the law in Portugal is very oppressive against Ultras, that is why the ultra groups need a good connection with the club to have support material. Great video amazing work. SPPPOOOOOORTINGGGG

O slb é q n tinha claques legais, dai serem chamados de grupos organizados de adeptos (GOA). A direção atual é que rompeu os acordos que foram feitos pelas direções anteriores, dai o desmembramento da curva sul. Alvalade era bem mais infernal com as claques todas juntas, mas esses tempos já n voltam.

I was at that game! I have no idea how KZbin recommended this video to me, but watching these clips gave me chills. I've been a Sporting fan for as long as I can remember, and I don't recall ever seeing live a derby as thrilling as this one. The atmosphere in the stadium was magical. Beyond words. Hats off to Benfica fans for contributing to the amazing vibe, and here's to hoping that in the end, it's sportsmanship and fair play that win. In Portugal there is no club that can top the atmosphere before, during and after the match of Sporting. The chants, songs, beers, friends, simply beautiful. Some trivia: The ultras used to be all together on the south stand but the current president banned some groups and separeted them. You should watch some videos between 2013 and 2020. It was insane!

The 4 ultra groups weren't always like that, they used to be all together on the curva Sul, but due to problems with the league and the club's administration, they separated and are now spread around the stadium, but as a fan I hope to see the mythical curva sul again.

At the most sporting deserved a draw, Benfica dominated most of the game and was it not for the very poor efficiency should have won the game

@@martimrodrigues2391 benfica fans only see what they want to see, you have to understand why benfica "dominated" the game, it's not because they were playing better, is simply because sporting was winning so there's no point in going for risky attacks that can cause them to concede a goal. How can you not see that when the game is drawn or sporting is loosing sporting is usually attacking more and being more threatning than benfica. That's literally the only reason why benfica was "dominating" in the taça match on tuesday as well, sporting started the match and was already winning so they played it more safe and allowed benfica to play more, you can clearly see that everytime the game was drawn sporting was the first to score, because they play better, but when they were winning they just played it safe without wanting to attack much.
