Big crash lap 1 in the kink, then many laps under safety car that I cut out.
Finished .011 seconds ahead of the maroon Porsche on the finish line.
p7 Overall, 1st in class.

Good driving all around and awareness to get through the mess. As a vintage racer, I just don’t get how wrecks like these happen. I promise Roger Penske is not looking for his next driver at these events. Drivers need to realize this and stay within their ability levels and remember that every car in these races are valuable and it more important to have fun, share your beautiful car with fans and bring it home in one piece. No need to take unnecessary risked for a plastic trophy especially on the first lap.
