My favourite by far was Claire Hillier. She is so beautiful and has a great voice. I really hoped she'd be the wild card. Emilie is very cute - love her chin but I don't think she was quite in the same class as the other people.

Vocally I thought Claire has a wonderful voice. It’s soulful, but she just wasn’t right for this role. If they brought Motown the musical she would be a great Teena Marie.

This sounds bad, but I'm guessing Danielle only scraped by in this initial round, 'cause she didn't really stand out majorly, but then she just improved so much over the live rounds that by the end of it she was a clear winner.

Saw Danielle at the Hackney Empire call-backs and thought "thats Dorothy!". No question. Confirmed here at 01:10 when she solos. So genuine. Wow. Uncut diamond. Raw natural verve & acting talent. The others were good but only Danielle was Dorothy from here on in. And the panel and TV producers knew it. If she'd gone the way of Jessie Buckley in IDA, Andrew would have thrown a serious fit.

When i first saw this, i said to my children, if Danielle wins i would take them to see the show,(she has the star quality) its just cost me £135, but will be well worth it

have to say, Danielle got some of the hardest parts here!! Amy was the best singer from this group, if she'd have tried to be less cabaret/cruise ship she would've done better. Emilie is hideous, she shouldn't have even got THIS far.

Firstly, you can NOT compare Danielle who was perfect to Dorothy in ever way possible, to Jessie Buckley....that takes the mickey! Secondly, they would all make unique Dorothys...however the public (me included) thought Danielle was this Dorothy. Emile has got the Judy-Garland-esque sounding voice which is perfect for the original WOO. Emilie sounds the best in that 'No More Tears' song they did with Charlotte in week 4 (I think it was). So happy Miss.Hope won - she deserved it!

I think it's now fair how Claire got hardly any lines. Amy takes the stage too much in comparison to the others. I really liked her though, just think they could've balanced it out a bit more

I felt bad for Claire at beginning of If They Could See Me Now - its hard enough to start singing without accompaniment and get the right notes, let alone on national television with a huge audience and Lloyd Weber and Charlotte Church AND 4 leading ladies watching you! Amy's got a good voice, but boy If Her Friends Could See Her Now, theyd be shocked how much make up and product one person can apply!!

At the time I couldn't understand how Emilie got through, but having watched all of these group performances again she was pretty much the only choice (not that it justified her staying for as long as she did - well, her and Jenny. Dani leaving so early was a travesty). It's also not difficult to see why they didn't do any more versions of this show. That sounds bitchy...oh well

+Juliette Laidin Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the past series immensely, but this one was generally of a much lower standard (and I don't just mean talent wise). The whole tone of the show was different! The previous shows never seemed to forget that they were casting a role while entertaining you, this one seemed to be all about the 'entertainment'. It was like the producers just said "this artist/song is popular at the moment, sing that, that'll get our ratings up". I mean so many of the songs were so far removed from Wizard Of Oz it was impossible judge! The judges also seemed to fixate on inconsequential things like walking down stairs in high heels. Could that be important in their future careers? Yes. Is it important for this particular role? No, and yet they went on and on about it! They were casting a specific role in a specific show, but they seemed more concerned about some crappy mash-ups! Also, Barry Edwards came across as a complete perv.
