Very happy about all of the group winners so far...ESPECIALLY the IWS!!! I'll be cheering loudly for him for BIS!!! Also loved the Curly-Coated Retriever, German Pointers (Longhaired, whoo! Can't wait to see them in the States!), Large Münsterländer, and other beauties in this group.

I owned a curly coat, I'm in Canada. There are a few scant breeders in North America. She had a gentle soul and a sharp intelligence. Loved her woodland jaunts. Oh how I miss her : )

My auntie owns a gorgeous IWS, she'll never compete at Crufts but they're magnificent, cheeky and full of personality! So happy one got so far in Crufts!

Love the Italian Spinone breed. Every year, the town I live in hosts a small dog show, and every year I attend. Last year, I was sitting next to a couple who'd brought camping chairs to sit in, and their Bracco Italiano and Italian Spinone. Somehow, that Spinone managed to clamber on to the guy's lap about 3/12 classes in, and didn't move till it was heaved off by the woman after the show had finished!

You obviously don't understand what AKC conformation is for. It's about the ideal LOOK of the dog for breeding,,. There are still thousands of poodles out there working and doing what they were bred for. This competition is for the conformation of bones, etc. You have no idea wtf you are talking about.

there are not gun dogs a gun dog would be able to last half way up a mountain on a shooting trip. there owners where all fat middle age women that probibly not even have guns. it shameful to think that these dogs are decened from true gun dogs and now there humilated and proaded around. for a gun do catigory they should be marked on how well they can bring back game after its been shot outside.
