Waseela or Tawassul is when you pray to Allah and make some person "Waseela" to seek Allah's mercy because you believe that Allah definitely loves that particular person. But Ya RasoolAllah Madad (PBUH) or Ya Ali Madad or Ya Hussain Madad (Razi Allah u Anhum) is not "Waseela" because you are not praying to Allah you are praying directly to that person who is "Waseela" and that is absolute Shirk.

Islam's most controversial confiscation case where 1st Caliph who recently confiscated succession of Ali (as) as Prophet's appointed successor, now be the judge, the opponent, the jurist, the witness quoting a false narration of Prophet ( saww) "Prophets of Allah never possess any inheritance and their belongings belong to the Ummah" and brings his own daughter Hazrat e Aysha's alibi to support his claim while rejecting all witnesses of Muhammad's daughter (saww) a blatant example of hypocrisy. Fadak if Ali (as) as caliph himself gave it back to her (themselves) would be blamed as he favoured his own family would have given hypocrite Muslims such as Umayyad's to start yet another campaign against him. Ali ibn Abi-Talib (as), didn't fight confiscators of his rightful succession to avoid rifts in Ummah harming Islam yet he stayed close to all Caliphs to help feed, align and assist Islamic jurisprudence and jurisdictions such as Prophet's Mosses's mother breast-fed her own son in Pharaoh's Palace as if she spoke of her rightful motherhood, could have got the child killed who ended up in lap of pharaoh's wife Asiya.

(1) Later Caliphs' actions beyond the Rashidun Caliphs aren't a proof against them. None of the Rashidun caliphs, Ali included, gave Fadak to Fatima or her descendants. May Allah be pleased with all of them. (2) Ali's goal - as you allege, without proof - to prevent fitna did not work, as we are split in aqeeda. Rather, his actions only caused confusion between Shi'a and Sunni, and resulted in weakness for the Shi'a throughout history. According to your belief, either Allah wished to humiliate the Shi'a, contrary to his promise for victory to the believers, or you are mistaken in aqeeda as the Sahaba had great victories as promised to them in the Quran. The latter is more likely.
