@@nevillepretorius8948 I wonder if there is still anyone who has anything. That is now well over 40 years ago and I wonder how many video tapes of that era survived. I contacted the SABC years ago hoping to buy copies of the old races, but they told me that they had basically destroyed their archives. I was shocked to say the least. The guys like myself who still have a few races left have a responsibility to copy them to a digital format while we still have video recorders that is operational and servicable. I had my VHS recorder fixed recently and it was a bit of a challenge to get it to work properly. Fortunately the technician did not give up easily.
