Group Task (GT) is similar to Group discussion(GD) but in GT, a problem is given to the group which they are to solve. Everyone in the group is to provide their solution to the given problem which at the end must be concluded. Sir my rank is 1750 EE any possibilities to be selected in interview bcz everyone says gate highscore students mostly selected low score candidates very less And as per govt rules they are selected for interview with ratio 1:5 or 1:8 but mostly below 500 only selected they are saying, is it right IOCL shortlisting just for namesake

I think in gd and gt we have to speak English.. and in interview it can be hindi or English

As I had my interview in chennai, I did not have chance to speak in hindhi as there were people from Andra telangana and tamilnadu also kerala only . Most of them did not know hindhi so I did not go for hindhi. But in Mumbai and all they do talked in hindhi.
