How do you use the black numbers on the bridge to find the rock piles? People always say look at google maps but it doesn't help you when you're out there.

silas caldwell you can get them year round but I think winter months are more productive.

I went overboard (months of saving to support my fishin habit) and bought myself an accurate valiant 600 conventional reel, a St Croix mojo salt 7' MH Fa rod for bottom fishing, put 85# braid plus whatever leader I choose. Pretty sure I could make that work. Or my trusty 8000 BG Setup could work. LOL.

Dalton D. I like to fish outgoing on both piers. you can get them on the incoming tide as well.

I was at the Skyway last weekend the old man in bait shop told me the grouper were biting I thought he was full of shit. I caught a couple snapper and there were thousands of crabs flowing by. Never seen that before. Any advice on finding the rock piles?
