There is something about this track that opened my heart. It is sad - and yet, beautiful. I nearly cried.

Always interpret this as gradual memory loss throughout the track, the piano getting more sporadic and unpredictable as it progresses. Also the title “Labyrinth” meaning the person is trapped in their confusion and is trying to find their way out.

i was microwaving mac and cheese and listening to ruins and the beep sound at 3:36 made me get up and check on them cuz i thought the microwave was done

haha apparently that sound was her actual microwave that beeped when the power went out, and she just left the sound in the recording
