People say Grouper sounds sad. This can definitely be he the case. But I find it detached, and empty. Not in a bad, nihilistic way, but there's so much potential here. It feels like Liz really tapped into the foundations of what it means to be creative. Listening to these foundations, these uncovered remnants of human thought and emotion, it inspires me to tap into similar depths.

A recommendable listen for when one is increasingly becoming detached and estranged from this world and its people, and desires nothing more than isolation, getting inebriated, and writing philosophical poetry. I am you, you are me, I exist, so that I can see you and so that I can see me. for we are not apart, although it may seem, we are in fact all one then two, then one into infinity.

i love your way of putting it. i feel like all of Grouper's songs feel like a sort of in-between. they float around the spectrum of comforting and unsettling, melancholic yet heart-warming. Its just otherworldly and undefinable :0 so beautiful :,)

These are great to put on for long haul flights. Coupled with noise-cancelling headphones they get the job done.
@tylersims69374 жыл бұрын
Long haul, as in "haul ass!!"?!? Or haul as in.. "Brandon, despite being a quite prolific sex-offender, just couldnt fit in down at city-haul." Or do you mean it in more of the nominal sense?..An example: "The thing about milking my prostate is, there's only two survivors of whom managed to really manhandle mine the way my brother does, and their names are John Oates and Darryl Haul."
