Part of the original's charm was the sprite work. Now it looks so generic in 3D.

Because Arab people complain about EVERYTHING! Trust me I am Iranian, they complained about Battlefield 3 once Because they attacked "Iran" and the game is now illegal to buy in Iran Modern Warfare 2 (2022): first mission you are ghost and you sent missiles to Qasen Soleimani (Cause it really happened) and now MW2 is 100% illegal to buy in Iran. They complain about anything I mean- It is just a video game not too serious! Edit: wish I stay alive

Okay, a Klonoa-style 2.5D Metal Slug could absolutley work, but this is just not it. There's just too much missing personality to fit in a single youtube comment and this whole thing comes across as a bit half-assed.

People saying the classic is better I will agree on that but the arcade games are specifically made to make you use coins and lose money I really enjoyed the new metal slug and I have been a big fan ever since I started playing them and the fact the game is free makes it better. It’s also available on steam,ps5,Xbox, and mobile such a masterpiece of a game in my opinion

Dev put efforts on the remake, most 3D remake usually looks way worse than original but with wide screen and high def it should looks beautiful

I'm still playing Metal Slug 1-6 but I can't do 7 because it's the Nintendo DS platform, so I choose Metal Slug XX and Metal Slug Defense and Metal Slug Revenge.The last one is metal slug code J which I played on mobile!

Me gusta más el estilo pixel clásico, además tiene más detalles, la música suena más épica y tiene ese toque de dificultad que lo hace más desafiante y entretenido, aunque no me molesta que el remake sea más fácil pero aún así no se siente lo mismo, no me termina de convencer el nuevo estilo Los juegos 3d con vista 2d siempre me parecieron una cosa rara, siento que no queda

I don't know why they choose the classic, the remake isn't bad at all to be honest and it's free. And y'all wanna know what? Metal Slug Awakening is available on Steam. Yeah I know, it's still a mobile game, but better than nothing. Now you should do a comparison between mobile and PC

No Coop campaign, energy system in 2024, pay to win, the classics are better. Just the fun campaign with optional coop and no chinese generic mobile game bs with a lot of microtransactions. It's just not for me.

This ain't pure classic Metal Slug for comparison. The classic sprites all look like some smoothness filter has been turned on. No clear pixels in sight.

The series is known for its outstanding sprite work. When you take that away, it becomes a generic (tho fun) action platformer.

​@@atraveserataladroalcielosi que se puede, en la maquinitas a fichas o monedas es un poco mas difícil, para lo demas te metes a opciones Si tiene, y si es tipo arcade, activa la bios con una combinacion fe botones. Y en emuladores es aun mas facil, pero los machos de verdad juegan en Level 8 💀🤘

بازی اصلی رو کلا از بین بردن چیزی که توی تیزر بازی 2020 نشون دادن با موقع انتشار فرق داشت شخصیت هایی بیشتر زن هستن داستان بازی جالب نیست و SNK, نظارت کامل روی بازی نداره و فقط شرکت TEME داره از IP متال اسلاگ سود میکنه. نسخه اصلی بهترین هست و خواهد بود
