Thanks for the info. I hand cleaned my grout using a clean eraser and dawn detergent. It worked great.

Did the second pass work for the darkened grout lines?

We love our wood porcelain tile floors. I am buying this product to clean the bathroom grout and resealing it. Eventually I will use in our kitchen which has dark wood plank porcelain tile. This looks super easy!

Ideally, it would have been nice to seal the grout from the start, but, as you saw in the video, I had success using this product and recommend it! Really is an easy job to take up some time on the weekend. Just avoid your stainless steel appliances in the kitchen (if you have them)! Thanks for watching and good luck!

No guarantees. But try this two step method: Barkeeper's Friend *Soft* Cleanser (not the powder) with a a microfiber cloth. Then Weiman Stainless steel cleaner and polish.

That’s a good question. I followed the method directly from the manufacturer (Clean-Eez), who recommends the application shown. From my experience, you really need to apply a liberal amount to let it penetrate into the porous grout. Thanks for watching - I hope this helps!

Hmm, bare feet? Are you worried the solution will damage your shoes? Of course, it won't be a problem on bare skin. Great idea to not take any risks with an unfamiliar product.

That's fair. The only thing I regret, as stated in the video, is that we didn't seal the grout since it's light in color.

I agree - it should have been explicitly stated. Since posting this video, I‘ve changed my tune on this product. There are better, more holistic ways of cleaning grout lines with great success.

Stop mopping your tile floors ! Period ! That's what is causing dirty grout. I am a tile setter and refurbisher for 30 years. Use a tile grout sponge , well broken in but only damp. Once you get the grout clean, do not mop it ever again. Keep it dry and just vacuum. Spot clean with a damp grout sponge and dry immediately with a terry towel. I clean just using the sponge with no chemicals, just water and the sponge . It is hard work on your hands and knees with a 5 gallon bucket of cold water. I have before and after pictures that would blow your mind. It looks like the tile and grout were just installed.
