Love the use of the grow light here. You don't even think about the fact that it's there until the end, when it's used to justify Twoey's little spotlight.

Why's the actor so happy? Semore believes that this plant is his last hope at making his life better and getting at least a shred of happiness. He's thrown all of his years of knowledge of plants at the situation but everything he values is failing him. Then he has to go against his interacts and worries and feed the plant blood. This isn't a smiling moment. Really good voice on him though. I hope he goes far.
