Finally a smart KZbinr! I use grow lights for all my aquariums. I don’t use aquarium lighting at all. My plants are thriving in all my tanks. Aquarium lights are overpriced and overhyped!

Did you try your grow light without covering the uv leds? Did you faced any problems like bacteria bloom like issue with the uv leds. I heard that prominent manufacturers of aquarium lights have uv leds in their lights. Kindly share your comments.

Yes .I have tried with UV light and my tank's nitrogen cycle crashed and water became cloudy then I researched and found that UV light is the culprit.Then after blocking the lights my tank water became crystal clear and plants started to grow well.

@@guruprosadhalder3715 Thanks for your reply. I dont know what is the reason. Some canister filters also have UV light inside. If it kills the beneficial bacteria then why most of the people buy those canister filter with UV inside. Some big names in aquarium lights also includes UVa leds in their light.
