Encouraging, freeing Eric. Trying to cram doesn't work with spiritual understanding, and a lot of other learning too, but I kept/keep trying. Y'know this song lyric just came to mind: "remember God's not in a hurry", from 'All Day Song' (Love Him in the Morning) an oldie.

That's a great song! Simple and direct, and I love the mandolin. It reminds me of Spurgeon's "Morning and Evening" devotional which follows the oblation offering; one of my favorites.

Shalom from OH! My devotion time is really just the Bible. I have a basic pattern I follow and I often write down what God is showing me in a journal. I may do a video on that if people think that would be helpful.
