Love your new toy! I typically raw sow carrots and thin later. Last year, i had unexpected surgery and was unable to get out to thin my carrots. To my happy surprise, I had a good harvest of carrots that seemed to 'thin' naturally - survival of the fittest? I don't recommend this but it worked.
