However there are only few leaves that are growing full size, rest are still too small and usually tilted towards soil. The smaller one are just dying. Not sure what I am doing wrong here. Any tips? Methi is the easiest one to grow. Soak the seeds in water for 24hrs. Fill the tub or pot with 60,20,20 soil, compost and cocopeat.water it fully till u observe water is draining a bit(soil height shd be minimum ,10cm). Now press the soil softly with hand. Now sprinkle the wet seeds with spacing of min.1cm. now cover the seeds with soil mix about 2cm heigh and water it by sprinking.u will see the magic of methi plants with bigger leaves in 8days. There is fungus problem with my soil not sure if this is due to rainy season. All of my spinach roots rot. In fact I tried yeast and sugar solution in one of my pot, now there is no fungus but spinach is not growing well in this soil. Ph of my soil seems to be 7.5 and ph of my water seems to be 8. I tried to reduce watering plants are dying faster.
