Me too. I have a tiny one bedroom and a doggie swimming pool I got for cheap to pot plants. I just rinse it out in the shower and then it fits pretty neatly in my walk in closet. The living room floor is the only space I have, the problem is it sometimes sits there for a while and you kind of got a walk around it. I still end up making a little bit of a mess but I suppose that’s what my vacuum is for👍

Harli, Girl - you're doing great. Everything with your content is great, stop apologizing for mess here and there - it's okay - it's normal, you're a mom and human being, we're here for your pretty plants. :D You don't have to keep up with the polished to the perfection fake internet aesthetics, I watch your videos because they are natural - you are. I love seeing how you're living with your plants, pets, husband and children and I LOVE IT that not every corner of your house is perfect, because non of us has those, and I can relate to you. :D love you girl, chill, relax, enjoy your camping (envy by the way :D I'm working my ass off and hadn't had proper vacation since 2017) and please stop apologizing for who you are and how you are. Muuuuch love and support, keep doing you

so when your plants look perfect or your grow house is spectacular and all the plants are beautiful and healthy that means the rest of your life is falling apart... When your plants are suffering somewhat but still hanging in there that means that you've still got steam for it all! A productive life and still have somewhat of a plant hobby. Congratulations Harli! I guess you must be doing pretty well in life!

I have a bunch of ferns that naturally grow around my house. I seen those dots are thought the worst (PESTS!) 😅😂 good to know that they’re actually okay!

First, your honesty is appreciated and a good reminder for myself to do the same. Your tent however is....pretty sweet! All your plants look happy in there and so do you...winning! I wouldn't do much differently because you said it yourself, you feelin good in there. It appears to me that your plants feelin the same. Plus, camping is so fun partially because of the sleeping in a tent part. Why wouldnt plants like it too? So sick! Cool plants, nice tent.😎👍🏼

Maybe hanging some of the ones that like to trail will help manage them more too! I totally get what you mean about how crazy they can get! They totally do their own thing and grow how they want 🤣 and the coveted blooms… what a mess they definitely make lol! I feel like Hoyas have so much character. I would love a grow tent this big ☺️ I also don't know anyone with a grow tent that doesn't get messy 😅 I have a 4x4 for my anthurium but I need another one stat cause there's no space in there. The best tool I have for it is my shop vac. Between water and substrate spills, the shop vac cleans it all. Mine gets messy quickly so I try to vacuum, disinfect, and clean, at least 2-3 times per month.

Always a pleasure seeing what you've got "growing on" 😉 Harli. Lots of beauties giving me inspiration and making me want to propogate my own plants again. Also, ferns growing out from nowhere!? Please do share your secret. I love ferns now that I've kept one happily alive for over a year. Used to hate them tho. Do they just spring up out from the moss or is this some kind of hyrbid situation? I gotta know. 😂
@baileyrogers27832 жыл бұрын
@ 7:35 it looks like rhipsalis! Also the little mystery moss is to die for in there! Also who has a perfect collection truly? I've been keeping plants going on 5 years and my collection always represents how busy I am and how my mental health is! I just cleaned my grow bins out for the first time in so many months... everyone for the most part stuck it out with me!
@baileyrogers27832 жыл бұрын
Also your tent looks so good! If it's hard to move between your middle self I'd definitely move it like you recommended, then I'd put the bins that are tallest to the sides of the tent and shorter ones towards the middle or walkway areas so you don't have so much to brush up on! Also for clean up I always had a tent broom and worked from one section to the next each watering! For ex one tray at a time, or for myself I always aimed for a shelf at a time to be able to wipe it down and replace the cache trays with cleaned ones so they could instantly go back onto their dedicated areas! The dirty ones i would wash and use for the next shelf of plants. You could also just work on a bin while you binge a podcast or tv show when they boys will give you 45min here and there! 💚 you're doing amazing as always!

Love that you kept it honest and didn't clean everything before showing. I know I'm also someone who will leave a mess around plants for a bit till it needs a deep cleaning and rearranging day. Your not alone. I find I have to write little to do list of stuff I want to accomplish to help me stay organized. I don't always hit everything on my list but will just move it to my next list till I gets done and I'm able to see all that I really do get done that way too. Helps me stay motivated that way.
@Scrappy2 жыл бұрын
The thing you called clover is actually a species of oxalis :) and the other thing coming out of the green velvet/frydek is flick weed. Be careful when you remove it because the little seed pods literally flick far away and you really don't want it to spread. It's a horrible weed and a pain to get rid of so be super gentle when removing it :) the little moss stuff under the flick weed isn't related and completely harmless
@athena112312 жыл бұрын
Ugh yes! They are impossible to get rid of! I’m glad harli likes it and theoretically it’s only a weed if she doesn’t want it there but I spend at least an hour every week in my research internship just pulling them out of our greenhouse pots and just seeing it on a screen gives me a sense of dread 😂
@kayla91652 жыл бұрын
So idk if it would be helpful in a grow tent space but it has helped me clean my plant shelves having a really good hand held vacuum to maybe vacuum up a bit it’s definitely not completely clean but it is a little easier to whip out and doesn’t take very long if you do it semi-regularly But also that’s your space so if your fine with it who cares lol

I think you’re quite charming. I like that you show reality and are authentic. The grow tent tour was fun. Soil on the floor? Geez, you’re working with soil and living things that lose leaves and blooms and sometimes get yellow and do mysterious things. That’s just plant life. I wouldn’t trust a perfectly clean setting with all perfectly coiffed plants and no visible problems. That’s not reality and makes me completely suspicious of the presenter making me wonder what they are hiding and what is real in their plants’ lives. You keep doing you!!! I’ve watched you for quite a while and just subscribed today. Anne

Enjoy your boys and your camping.... priceless moments. Your grow tent is looking mighty fine to me and the majority of your plants look very healthy. Suggestion .... instead of facing a huge chore every 6 months, maybe do a section or a prop box a day or set small increments of time whenever you can. The most needy areas first. Before you know it, you'll have it tidy enough.
