Please, stop acting like a child, and grow up. Her husband broke up with her after twenty years. Never give up on your dreams. I will never give up on learning English. At last, Paul gave up drinking alcohol after many years. What's the hold up? Please, hold up a minute. They split up to try to find water in the town. Thanks a lot, Mike. Great lesson.😊😊😊

Hello sir , Let's go to the park. Where is the subject in this sentence? Look forward to receiving response from you.

Can we us as a subject, sir?
@sharifullahjan75562 жыл бұрын
Actually, I have studied that us is used an object and we is used a subject. Sir, kindly help me.
@MaxSapronov2 жыл бұрын
@@sharifullahjan7556 right! Let's go to the park. (We) let us go to the park. The subject is "we". The object is "us". The helping verb is "let". The main verb is "go".

Hi teacher Mike.ihave 2questions: 1what is the meaning of (open up)? 2when we use phrasel verb if we have another word has the same meaning ?Thanks
@TeacherMikeEnglish2 жыл бұрын
I would say the main 2 are 1. To open an object like a box. 2. To tell someone your true emotions.
@mohamadyousef61072 жыл бұрын
@@TeacherMikeEnglish ok thank you but if isay to someone to open the door (open up the door )is it the same meaning what you have explained?
@TeacherMikeEnglish2 жыл бұрын
You would probably never say that. You would say either: "Open up," or "Open the door."
@mohamadyousef61072 жыл бұрын
@@TeacherMikeEnglish iheard it from actor when someone lock the door and the other want him to open the door. Teacher Mike can we say (What you ate yesterday?)without did. Thank you so much.

English is ridiculous honestly. All these Americans go to hello talk Practice Spanish for 8 months and leave the app speaking Spanish . I have have 15 years leaning, I have a a 4 years bachelor degree in English teaching from a Latin American university and moved to Canada 6.5 years ago to improve and don’t stop learning English. Every day there is something new . It is unending and yes it frustrating. Very frustrating. I am sure I could learn programming very well if I put the focus I have put in English into programming.

I agree that languages are difficult, but do you really think English is that much more difficult than Spanish?
