thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. I noticed that all vines, which you grow are on the low level. Can I grow it on the arches, like in Italy old style. You can sit or walk in a shade under it. What pros and cos of that style of growing muscadines? Thank you.

Muscadines are very vigorous vines and will gladly grow anyway that you allow. Overhead arches may increase the difficulty of proper annual pruning and inhibit optimum fruit production.

I have several old vines that have 8 or 10 bunches coming from the roots they produce well but can I cut several off at the base during dormancy

Sorry for the late response but yes you can definitely cut off all but one at the base during dormancy. Then train the one left on a proper trellis for good fruit production.

I imagine there are nurseries in the USA that are able to ship plant material out of the country. I am not familiar with your climate, we have rather mild winters and rarely dip below 10- 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Hope this helps!
