I also have similar problem with SPH5000. It charges lead acid batteries for 5 months. My batteries are ok because they charg with an external 48v rectifier and they supply energy to the inverter.

The internal battery circuit is damaged seen it before inside the switching transistors are blown 😢

Same thing here with SPH5000 ,6months old installation with 3x Ark 2.5 kWh storage.Aftersales sucks ,waiting 7th week for replacement.

I can charge from panels, but not from grid. Did you solve it? Growatt are now maintaining user data accounts and say changes might not work from shinephone or online.

Growatt change this invertor with new one. You must contact Growatt or the dealer who sell it to you

There is damage to the transistors that control the battery charge and discharge we had one in bits to find fault 😢could be fixed the parts are hard to get and expensive
