I would like to add that also, even though the Lord's prayer is wonderful, I don't think His intentions was for us to repeat what He said over and over again like you mentioned in the video but He wants intimacy with each of us, what's in our hearts. Also, I'm certain part of Jesus example of prayer was for us to be family and not selfish. He says, " OUR father whom art in Heaven." "Give US this day our daily bread." "lead US not into temptation. " " deliver US from evil." " forgive US our tresspasses" " as WE forgive those who trespass against US." He uses words like,"OUR, WE and US" so many times teaching us to pray in inclusion. Not just for ourselves but for others suffering too, in need too, hurting too, hungry too, lost too. We are called to be the bride of Christ, the body of believers. Many in the body with specific cause and purpose together...to reflect the husband Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. You also can't get what you're not willing to give. JESUS says if you want forgiveness you must be willing to forgive so I believe if you want help be willing to help others. If you need comfort,be willing to comfort others. One family sharing the hardships and celebration of one another, together. Iron sharpens iron. Love you guys

We all deserve hell but Jesus died for us. Hell is the punishment for sin but Jesus died for all our sin and took the punishment for them so we would be saved by that alone. First God created humans, (Genesis 1) but we sinned against him (genesis 3:8-24). The punishment for sin is hell (Romans 6:23). To enter heaven we have to be perfect (Matthew 5:48). But God knew we couldn't be perfect because we already sinned. So he sent his son to die for our sins and pay the hell punishment we deserved for our sins (John 3:16). Jesus took all our sins so we were made clean and we would be saved because through Jesus we were justified and all our sins were forgiven. So we would be saved by what Jesus did on the cross alone for salvation. Trust in what Jesus did on the cross alone for salvation. By faith u are saved not of works Ephesians 2:8-9 that being said tho we shouldn't use what he did on the cross as an excuse to sin. So rundown the only reason we are going to heaven is because of what Jesus did for us that alone saved us so trust in him.

Praying the Lord's Prayer repeatedly is not wrong, as long as you pray it with a genuine heart, reflecting on its meaning. Repetition in prayer becomes a problem only when it is thoughtless or done out of superstition, as if the act of repetition itself brings favor. Focus on praying with sincerity, whether you use the words of the Lord's Prayer, your own words, or a combination. God desires heartfelt connection, not perfect phrases.

@wanderer44-xr5si ty for your reply. I talk to God, praise him, thank him for everything that I have and ask to do his will, not mine. I don't know if it's right, but I also Pray to Jesus. I know that Jesus is God, but I Pray to God and Jesus in the same Prayer. I'm not a " new " Christian but I've recently given my entire life to Jesus and I'm doing everything I know to get closer to him. I've given up on me, and now I live for him. Learning more everyday.

It kills me that you used the word "lord" a lot which is a Hebrew word for satan, its like you are praying to our father calling him satan, "satan, delivery us from satan" search the words, the Bible was copied from Mathew translation and they changed many important words. I wonder what you tell this God in your prayers and why it takes so long, Do you tell him how good he is and do you ask forgiveness for the multitude of sins you’ve committed since your past prayers? OK that would take all of five minutes and apparently you’ll be automatically forgiven, so now you can commence sinning again until tomorrow when you can do it all again. An easy way to pray would be to record your little prayer on a tape machine and program it to play at a certain time every day, you wouldn’t even need to be there. The same for saying Grace, just leave your recorder on the dining table. How easy is that?

Not trying to contradict or poke holes in the scripture, but I’m confused. LUKE 11:9-10‼️ "And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. Unless that scripture means not to ramble on and on saying the same thing in the same sitting/prayer. Example: bless me with a house, bless me with a house, bless me with a house oppose to just asking that once within that prayer util the next time you pray.
