Thank you for the advice!! I had some serious growth going after changing my beard care regimen ( I actually switched to the coconut oil) and decided I wanted a trim. Of course the barber got ‘scissor happy’ and ruined my gains. I’m now in my second week of ‘beard growth recovery’, and added mint and rosemary oil to my arsenal. Keep the content coming!!

I stopped trimming my neck as soon as I started the years journey, which was Jan 1 2021. I knew I'd have neck beard for a month or so, but I also knew when it all meets together it would look fuller and better. Also, nothing I love more then combing out my under beard. Puffing it out makes my beard as a whole so much more fuller, that's when I really appreciate it. It's just a shame that as soon as I look down, it's back to normal again lol. I'm hoping that when it gets longer, it will bounce back a little more and not clump together as much as it does now with the under beard hanging on to the chin beard.

Joe, My beard is at about 8” inches. I get it trimmed once a month ( Just the crumbs on the bottom) seem to be working. I have been letting it my sides grow letting them catch up with the rest of my beard. Then I’ll try to put on some more length. I probably could benefit from skipping a month off of trimming. I tried the bread blow out with the Chicago comb (BEST COMB) ,liked the results will be incorporating into my beard routine.Thanks for another great video. 👍🏼

Thanks man for watching I appreciate it much brother! Sound like a good routine, Would be interesting if you skipped a trim to see how it works out.

Hi Joe, you have a great looking beard, the type of beard I want for myself. I just finished shaving off my beard that was about 4-5 inches in length, but I have had much longer beards. My problem is that I always get "beardruff" and skin issues underneath my beard. So I recently had to shave off my beard to begin healing my skin. It looks like I suffer from dry skin, causing the beardruff. Nothing worked, no shampoos, no beard oils. So, if you could discuss these issues in upcoming videos that would be appreciate. Thank you for your video.

Great beard. I’ve heard in a few of your videos that you didn’t trim any length from your beard, or at least up until those videos were recorded - but I wanted to ask if you truly didn’t trim at all, or if you just didn’t “trim length” yet still trimmed any “strays” or “fly aways” to gently keep the shape - so only trimming about 1%. I ask because I’m probably 9 or so months into my beard and I stopped trimming, including my neckline and even any “strays” for the past 5 or 6 so months. Thank you! And keep it up.
@Joet93 жыл бұрын
Hey John thanks for watching. Yes, that is correct I have never trimmed length. I have done some on the upper sides to keep the cheeks not so puffy although these trimming are very seldom. Gravity is now helping in this area as well. I never really got into the trimming of fly aways just because I figure a fly away today may not be one tomorrow. You can't trim to a long beard. Products that make my beard feel good help with the no trim as well. Thanks for the support and keep #growing south.

I use castor oil and coconut oil and then I use a wide tooth comb and pick it out what u think of that? Or should I use a beard butter or beard oil instead?

Caster oil is too thick. Try ordering a beard oil from honest amish. Just put a few dabs on your finger tips. Rub both hands together. Then apply all over your beard as soon as you get out of the shower everyday. Then blow dry warm. You'll love it!!°

Fantastic beard, brother. Mine's not quite a big as yours (it's terminal so it aint gonna get any bigger). I comb mine the exact same way. I use a silicone-based conditioner in the shower, and the comb glides right through with minimal rippage. Before COVID, I would hit it with hairspray to keep it full and big. I love your beard.

hello sir. ı wonder whats the beard growth phases and ı dont know which bear styles suit my face ı think my face shape is oval. btw great channel, ı hope this channel getting bigger. loving from Turkey
@Joet93 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the nice comments. I think a longer beard style looks great on an oval face. While growing out a beard for length you will have several phases along the way. If you want length just let it grow. You can always grow past the length you want and get a trim to where you want to be. Keep growing.
