Nice video, I harvested mines yesterday. They are small but It was 2°C last two mornings and the leaves vent dark and bad, so I decided to pick them. Can't wait to see your final result 👍

I really appreciate that ☺️☺️ this video was from 2020 so I don’t think I did another update on this as the weather got really cold that year, but I am growing beets again this year! I tried to grow four buckets of beet root in my backyard in containers. I had them spread 3 inches apart 10 inches deep very wide at the opening plenty of full sun I never got a beat that was bigger than a pearl and now I’m not even getting anything growing below. Can you tell me what your recipes that you put in the bucket such as what type of dirt any fertilizer, nutrients and that nature I need help I don’t know where to turn. .Enjoyed your video

Great video, as a first time growing beets, this is very helpful! I have a question about harvesting the greens on top of the beets, can I harvest the greens before you can see the beets out of the soil?

Thanks! Yes you can harvest them and more leaves will grow just make sure to harvest the outer bigger leaves and leave the smaller middle ones 😊

I'm trying to grow some beetroot here in Thailand during our winter, I'm not sure if they will grow ok as our winter temperature's are around 30 degree c or 86 F. I hope they look as healthy as yours 😍

Try to keep them in a more shaded area when the temperature gets high and during hot afternoons. If they get morning sunlight and then shade in the afternoon they should grow good! Goodluck ☺️🌱

Thanks so much! For sure I will keep this in mind! I typically grow during the winter in my AeroGarden which is great for growing herbs in small spaces. What is the drainage like in this pot?

It has one drainage hole in the bottom, I recommend all pots have drainage holes when growing in containers

What soil did you use? Seed starting soil?

I just used regular herb and vegetable potting soil and planted them directly in the soil!
