I have a question. Where can I get a cheap soil to grow broccoli? I cant seem to find anything cheaper than like $9 a cubic foot in my area and that would mean broccoli would cost $6 worth of soil, not to mention the pot and seed costs. Is there anything I can do to reduce my investment? I know it seems petty but I wanted to start growing my own food to save money.

Wow that is quite costly! I would look at a few gardening centres and recommend buying in bulk if you can. I typically buy my soil this way to cut down costs. Usually I pay about $25 for a huge bag of organic soil that fills many containers. For me growing my own food is priceless though! But do what works best for you 😊
