Hi, I love your videos! My ghost chilli plants are about 2 months old. I have pruned them before re-potting them to a bigger pot, which was about 3-4 weeks ago. Now, one of my plant have a small flower, do I need to remove the flower to encourage bigger plant or just leave it alone? Thanks in advance

Yes.. you can remove the flower as the whole plant will focus it's energy on the fruit instead of the leaves.

Hi... So most dry chillies that you buy from the stores have been dried using ovens or dehydrators. The seeds get damaged so I doubt whether the seeds will Germinate. But since gardening is all about experimentation I would still suggest that you give it a go and try. Who knows it might work.

Ideal optimum temparature is anywhere above 20°C... Survival of the plant and fruiting will be affected anywhere beyond 36°C

Hi, what did you use for insect control? i have big problem with mites,aphid and thrips.

First, reduce nitrogen. High nitrogen increases aphids attacks. Secondly, keep checking your plants every day and if any one of them has it remove that plant instantly. Thirdly, insects attack plants that aren't healthy. So ensure that they are getting water and their nutritions on time. Fourthly, use insecticides, even when you don't see any insects on your plants almost every week... I would recommend organic oils like neem oil with liquid soap or wood ash..

Yes... I grow mine in grow bags which is equivalent to pots/containers. Just remember that the pot should be wide ... Say 12 inches or more

Kindly check my other video for more details. Sowing times is generally spring... When temperature is below 25 which varies from place to place. It can be sowed anytime provided it's protected from rain and extreme heat. But ideal time is November (if sowed in India)
