Two Black Wall Street investors are trying to inspire the next generations to get educated and build generational wealth. Both from unique backgrounds, one was raised by his grandmother in a small Florida town while the other was raised in Chicago by his lawyer mother and former Tuskegee Airman father. This week on AMERICA IN BLACK, CBS News Correspondent Vlad Duthiers sits down with Eddie C. Brown and John Rogers to discuss their goals to leave a path to long term wealth for Black americans. #BET #AmericaInBlackBET #BlackWealth

Thanks for highlighting these two pioneers. We black people need to see that we can be successful outside of sports and acting or music. I hope this story inspires a new generation of black financial entrepreneurs, and hopefully they look particularly at Mr Brown's example. He married a black woman, and in so doing, is keeping the wealth in the black community.👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
