Wish I lived closer, I'd have a great place to purchase my fruit trees and plants. I did manage to find Top Pot at Yamagami nursery in Cupertino! Saved one of the avocado trees I have.

Very informative. Now I’m interested in a Southmoon and Jewel. Are those considered high bush varieties?

Would it be okay to repot into better soil when there are berries on it? I used a probably not perfect for blueberries potting soil and added some peat moss and some perlite but I didn't add alot and they aren't producing much. Would it hurt to amend the soil now?

If the blueberry plant has a wider rootball than 4", you want to remove the soil...especially if it has bark or wood shavings in it. I don't know of any major growers that grow blueberries in the correct (permanent) soil. Removing the soil is a major stress and shouldn't be done in spring when there is a lot of new growth. It is best done in winter...however summer is not bad. Don't remove all the soil. Just leave a central core about 4" wide and the plant should be OK. Surround the plant...you can even plant it a few inches deep (it will root out of the stems) with our ACID MIX or a similar product. If done in summer then place the plant in 1/2 day shade for 2 weeks before exposing it to full sun.

I watched your video again and you even talked about that in the video. It was in answer to a question. I must have missed it the first time I watched it. There is so much information that us beginners have to watch it more than once. Thanks again.
