Growing Brussels Sprouts | How to get started easily

Too cute! I am currently growing Brussel sprouts in Central Florida 9b. Tiny sprouts are beginning to appear so I have started to remove the lower leaves. Thank you for the advice on Nasturtiums. I have them planted elsewhere in the garden.

Nice video. I also like to have a drink or two while gardening. One thing I saw in another video was to put a tomatoe cage around the sprouts for extra support. I have not tried that yet but I am going to this year. Also love your suggestion to companion plant with the Nasturtium. Last year I used Nasturtium, alyssums and marigolds around my garden and hardly had any insects.

Brussel sprouts and Elm oyster grow well together, nice symbiosis. Hope you give it a try!

I wasn't sure either. I've read that we can use diatomaceous earth for those slugs. I may give that a go!
