I managed to build my greenhouse around nov. it was so cold by then I had a few weekends on Saturday with head lights laying my foundations. My neighbors must have thought I was. Crazy

Think about building your greenhouse attached to your house through the back door. A friend of mine put a door in the basement and had a walk out to a back garden then he enclosed it. It became a greenhouse. The width of the house was 30 feet (his back door was on the side of the house) and the enclosure went back 15 or 20 feet. This was in toronto canada. What struck me was that he was growing fig trees Awaiting the kingdom.

In Hind-Sight?, your Greenhouse should have been constructed in such a way that ONE wall could be raised high enough (on HD Hinges) to hold it open and have wheels that would drop the whole structure to contact the ground. When you NEED to move the Greenhouse?, just open the one wall, raise all four wheels then use your Lawn Tractor to pull the whole thing away from your tree for the growing season then close your Greenhouse back up again where it will sit for that period and use it for seedling/cutting, propagation arena.

great video and really appreciated except for the music that at some points is louder than your voice.

I have since corrected the volume problem on later videos. I don't think I can fix it without additional editing. I will look into it when I have a chance.

The video is interesting, but turn off the music. It is not good and it is distracting.

This would have been a better video if the music wasn't so loud.

I need to go back and watch some of the videos. Maybe the level I'm getting when editing is actually louder when posted. One of the thing I am going to do if limit music. and I will try not to use any when speaking. Thanks for the feedback.

The sound levels are fine. You need better headphones/loudspeakers/stereo system.

I may eventually build one. I am still working on some ideas that will allow me to dismantle the house during summer.I am working on plans now.

Are you going to completely remove structure come summer? I would try just removing the panels, maybe paint the wood to help it deal with rain, or even just remove the sides and leave the roof on, then irrigate the trees as needed.

There are so many screws in the greenhouse that I have decided not to disassemble it during the summer. It would take too long. I eventually plan to make another larger house for my avocados , tangelo and lemon. Right now they are small enough to keep in pots for 3-4 years while I determine the size of house needed (I am thinking of 16 by 30+), but I need to calculate what it would take (cost) to heat it in the coldest of winters. It will be a production greenhouse so I plan to sell produce from it.

Should get a good price for fresh produce like that back there. Get a Kishu mandarin definitely, it's seedless, cold tolerant, bears early so don't have to worry about fruit freezing. It's precious and prolific, produced fruit faster than any other citrus I've grown. Algerian clementine good too, cold tolerant early season, but has seeds. Which avocado varieties do you have growing?

I'm moving to Ohio from California next week, and hope to have my own property there in a year or so. I'm Pinning these videos, and will follow with interest. One comment on the video itself, though: the music gets a bit too loud toward the end of the loop, and starts to drown you out. Your video editing software should have a way for you to adjust the sound levels. Hope you can work that out a bit better in the future. :)

The software does allow adjustments. I will be more diligent in the future. Thank you for your comments.
