Dave, thank you for the films and advice. Look forward to your films next year, and hopefully not too long before youre planting out again. For myself, I am to see a Knee Surgeon in a couple of weeks with a view to having a left knee replacement (hopefully the arthritis in the hips holds awhile). This means I wont be growing/showing dahlias next year, and as for future years who knows! In summary in spite of my confidence in my own methods, I did attain advice/tips from you. Regards, Paul

Thank you Dave, I'm seeing your videos in September 2016, and learned a lot on how to grow dahlias for my garden. Worth more in video than any book I've read on the subject. I do have a few questions on pretty basic stuff which I hope you wouldn't mind answering. Firstly, when does the feeding regime start and how often and for how long? Secondly on staking, I saw the stakes on your plot preparation video but then noticed lots of tying in too. For us armatures, some detailed learning on this would be good. Thirdly, why was only half the plot covered and then covers taken off? Thank you so much for your input here. Really appreciate your time in making this available online. Right now it's the end of season and I'm worry about storing the tubers. Never done that before!
