I treid to grow some last winter indoors. I had thrm in some soil that i made. Perlite, sand, composted forest products, and coir. I lost a bunch to (i think) fungus. They seemed to grow very slowly. They were put outdoors in the spring. I wonder what i did wrong?

I find when growing indoors things can become stagnant sometimes. If there is poor air circulation, in combination with possibly too much watering it can lead to damping off. This restricts the roots, causing seedlings to grow very slow or stop. Another thing it could be is not enough UV light as in not enough sun or improper lighting, which can cause the stems to not thicken, again making it susceptible to damping off. If the room temperature is too cold it can also cause it (though Douglas fir shouldn't need extra heat). If those aren't a problem, then too much compost or the source of the compost... Sometimes they can be very high in micronutrients, creating nutrition deficiencies or contain herbicides, so I try to keep it in low percentage especially during seedling stage. I hope that helps any. Thanks for the comment and let me know if you have any more questions!

I do part shade, or sun part of the day because they naturally grow under the cover of the understory and only reach full sun when they're taller. So full sun would be a bit much at this stage for this species. And yes, all conifer species can grow from seed in a similar way as this, including different types of fir. I'll be releasing a video shortly of growing subalpine fir from seed, which should apply to noble for as well. Thanks for the comment!

can you deliver to indonesia for seeds

Unfortunately not at the moment because it's more complicated to ship seeds internationally. But will let you know if that changes, thanks for asking.
