Before you mentioned the nesting pad for the roots I was typing a comment saying how it might work for that! Hooray for a basically zero waste resource!

Thanks for this video! I’ve been growing cat grass in soil but my cat loves to stomp all over it and kick dirt onto the walls. I will now be growing cat grass without soil 😊

Hi Bre, can you tell me where you got that set up in basement? I couldn't see brand name on that tent like set up. Please and thank you!!
@itsbreellis Жыл бұрын
It’s a grow tent from active grow! So far their lights have been my favorite over the years!

@@itsbreellis Just wondering, do you have a link and are you an affiliate with them? Any little bit of a discount helps lol

Where did you get your sprouting setup? I live in the desert, and having a closed curtain system like that would be awesome for humidity

Yes, please share! Would love to enclose my grow light shelving!

Awesome idea. Incidentally, I'm not sure which makes more noise- grass or cats?

Curious about your hair care, I looked in the description and I clicked on your Amazon link.... you really only use that Hi Bar stuff 'for travel' all the time?
@audreyrichards6725 Жыл бұрын
I obviously don’t know for sure what she does, but I’m here to say I recently started using hi bar and don’t see myself ever going back. It’s great! Plus it takes up less room in the shower, is better for the environment, and travels super well even on a plane.

Yah ive only used hibar now for years! Always loved how simple it is. I may play around with finding a deep conditioner to use on occasion to help hydrate my hair farther but there moisture line has always worked pretty well for me!

Does grass not make your cats throw up? I had a cat that would constantly throw up grass whenever I let him eat the lawn. I just assumed that all cats could not eat grass and mine was just... special. lol

I looked at johnny seeds web site and is it hard red winter seed that you buy? I have 2 inside cats and backyard chickens, so I would love to grow some for them like you do!

I've always seen that you shouldn't let the grass get so long for the chickens because of the possibility of them getting it stuck in their crop. You wouldn't have to let it grow for as many days that way.

Never had a issue over the last year, but its good to know and ill look into it! Thanks for letting me know!

You realize wild and feral chickens live and eat in grasslands, right? They are omnivores so they eat bugs, seeds, grasses, etc.
@kimberlyearly8918 Жыл бұрын
@@scoobydoo5447 I'm aware of what chickens eat. I have 12 of them. The longer the grass though the easier to get an impacted crop. Just because chickens can eat something doesn't mean they should or it's what's best for them. That's like saying wild goats will eat azaleas if they can but it will kill them if they do. Grass won't kill chickens but it CAN get stuck in their crops.
