This guy did great. I normally won’t watch 7 min of anything. But off the cuff, he didn’t stammer around. He packed tons of info into his time and it was interesting and a pleasure for this homebrewer to watch. Kudos.

I stopped by today on a bike ride and chatted up one of the family, a young woman. Thank you for taking time to indulge by questions and interest. My wife and I have some hops growing on our arbor over our deck and we will be traveling to Yakima Washington to my wife's cousins 850 acre hop farm next September. Looks like a great operation you have going. I hope your investment pays off. I will do my best by drinking local beer!

What a great introduction to commercial hop growing. I've been growing in my backyard in Northern Nevada for about 10 years, and I'm thinking about going commercial. It looks like a pretty serious undertaking! Thanks for the insights.

Put some hops in a few years ago in mid Missouri and they never really made much here. This year, I'm getting a few and I wanted to see how they look when grown professionally. Oh, so you need more than a farm fence for them then. lol good to know. Black locust should work for poles. Thanks.

Thanks this is a nice overview. I have 2 questions about the initial phase. When you started do you buy seeds or rhizomes? And do you use the same rhizomes each year or do you have to buy new ones each year?

I watched some large scale harvesting. The hops in large scale operations go through significant ly more time in processing . Your hops are probably fresher with less oxidation and loss of Lupulin glands.

Sir I want seeds of hops. How can I get them , where can I get them sir ,please give me information
@Adol6667 жыл бұрын
You dont really want the seeds. With seeds you will get some male hops plants. They will also end up seeding your female cones. You dont want hopes with seeds in them. Buy Hop Rhizomes(roots) and grow female clones from that.
