I'm in Sacramento and have five jacarandas planted in my yard. The largest is about 12ft tall and has bloomed twice this summer. I even have two delonix Regias planted with the biggest one at close to 6 ft tall. The delonix Regias survived this past winter with very minimal die back even after I had dug it up and transplanted it over a few feet at the end of September last year.

That would be fun to see if your Delonix gets big and becomes permanent . I tried and it thrived like crazy at my hot ranch near Vacaville then died in the cold next to a mango that did fine.

What a beautiful flowering tree. I wonder if it will grow in Georgia zone 8B?

I saw one at a house in Southwest Utah (zone 8b/9a) and it was surprisingly large and healthy. The dry desert climate may add a little hardiness though.

I like bluish stuff. Is it invasive? Would it grow in SEA?

Seattle is pushing it. Certainly won’t be invasive there though.
