I sometimes return to this channel which i first saw about 4 years ago now i think. Sad to see the channel being inactive, but i also know the struggle you went through, with your mushroom expansion, which must have been a big hit.. sad to see you go, good luck with whatever you are doing now anyways!

I had reservations about micro greens until I started watching your channel and now I need to go order me some seeds. We love salads but when you said to add to eggs I immediately thought omelet. Thank you for your suggestions.

Cosigning how good the greens are with ramen! I'm eating Ramen as I watch this. It's my favorite food. I haven't done the cheap way with the packet since highschool. I learned from Asian friends in college how things are done, and have ventured into many different noodle soups. I use the noodle bricks as noodles, but that's it. Most people prefer those anyway. I make my broths from scratch 3 days to a week at a time in my slow cooker. My fridge if full of various bone broths. It's actually great way to eat clean. I add lots fresh vegetables and can cosign on how nice it is to add flavorful microgreens and herbs to the dish. I really get into the process and have certain oils and exotic spices I add to each bowl. I'll eat ramen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner sometimes.

OK stop making me hungry already! I need to step up my Ramen game apparently, LOL! I know those packets are horrible for you

I see you have branched out from mushroom growing. You probably have satisfied yourself that mushroom waste can make good compost. Years ago you were having trouble getting rid of the spent blocks and I suggested you look into composters, landscape suppliers or farmers. You tried but weren't successful and later you chided me and seemed skeptical about the suggestions veracity. Well perhaps I was not the only one to make that suggestion about spent mushroom blocks and the remark was for a larger audience. Now, it looks as if you aren't concerned with growing mushrooms any longer but if the veracity of composting spent mushroom blocks might concern you, I refer you to Paul Staments and the following video, that in passing, addresses it. Good luck and great success in all your endeavors. BuildASoil: MUSHROOM FARM TOUR: A walk around at South River Aquaponics greenhouse and mushroom grow

Hey would you be able to spread some wisdom on an aspiring grower/college student? I’ve been in college for plant pathology pretty much for way to long now but honestly all I want is a farm and to grow crops and especially mushrooms. I get that you don’t really need a college degree to be a farmer but, Jewells….what’s your story? How did you get to grow mushrooms and rather successfully? Did you go and get a degree? I’m looking at myself and I’m thinking that I’ve wasted so many years getting a degree at something I don’t think I’ll ever get to use and it’s driving me nuts. I hope you see this lol. I couldn’t find your Instagram or anything else. God bless.
